Ocean in a box

Our English class project with the groups Balena (3 years), Thalassa (4 years)  and Mare Nostrum (5 years) was more than just art: it was a statement on sustainability! we transformed shoe boxes into shimmering oceans and seas, highlighting the importance of preserving our planet. We used reciclable materials that (unfortunately) can be easily found at the beach during a walk, like plastic lids, old bags and microplastics. Every material found a new purpose, reducing waste and protecting our seas and oceans.
