International bridges

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Workshop Middle School in New York to our school. These students have come to Barcelona as part of the exchange program (International JAF) that we carry out every year with schools in the USA.
Since the founding of the School in 1968, the Learning Away Days (JAF) have been an emblematic activity of our pedagogical project. Each year, all of the school’s students leave the school to continue developing activities and projects. In addition, these days allow us to establish fundamental emotional bonds that favor the emotional growth and integral development of the students, key aspects for good learning.
International JAFs offer the opportunity to acquire social and personal skills, improve English proficiency and participate in projects at schools in the United States.
Workshop Middle School is an amazing and wonderful school in New York with an innovative program based on the specific interests and challenges of teenagers.
American students stay in the homes of our School’s families, who welcome them with great hospitality, thus favoring an even richer and more authentic cultural immersion.
We feel very fortunate to have them here with us and to offer our students this rich learning experience.
We are very excited to further strengthen our international ties and provide our students with unique training experiences.
