Fried the cabbage
Group Banderola (5 years old) has fried the cabbage.
We picked it from our school’s winter allotment, observed it and talked about it and decided on the dish we want to make. We have collected the ingredients and items needed and carefully followed the steps according to the recipe. We have tasted the fried cabbage and enjoyed it during our lunch. Working with the vegetables we grow ourselves teaches us healthy lifestyle and encourages us to try new things. From planting to picking and eating we learn about the cycle of the plant, self-sufficiency, and sustainability. And we do all this by speaking English and listening to Miss Lizzy explain it to us in English.
